The regulations indicate that vehicles with a license plate ending in 9 and 0 have restrictions this Friday.
It is important to note that this measure does not apply to vehicles driven by elderly or disabled individuals.
The Metropolitan Transit Agency reported that from January to April 28, 2024, 1,322 sanctions were imposed for non-compliance with Pico y Placa.

The fine for violating Pico y Placa is equivalent to 15% of the unified basic salary (SBU), which is $69 for the first time.
In case of repeating the violation for the second time, the fine will be 25% of that salary, translating to $115. And in case of recurring offenses, the fine will increase to 50% of the SBU, which is $230.
