Emergency Statistics during Labor Day Holiday in Quito
During the Labor Day holiday of 2024, the ECU 911 registered hundreds of emergency calls in Quito.
Quito was the city with the most emergencies recorded during the Labor Day holiday in 2024. Compared to 2023, the numbers were lower.
In a report from ECU 911, accessed by EL COMERCIO, it was detailed that Quito recorded 8,815 emergency calls during the 2024 holiday. In 2023, there were 9,984.
Types of Emergencies Registered in Quito
In the same report, it was detailed that in 2023, 6,806 emergencies related to citizen security were attended. In 2024, it was 5,752, an 11% decrease.
Regarding municipal services, ECU registered 1,406 in 2023. This year, it was 1,178, indicating a 12.6% increase.
