Daniel Noboa, President of the Republic, has made changes to the governors of the provinces of Carchi, Los Ríos, and Manabí.
In the case of Carchi, the President has appointed Brígida Lucía Pozo Moreta as the new governor, thus ending the term of Marianela Robles Ruano.
In Los Ríos, Luis Alfonso Martínez Berrazueta has been named as the governor, succeeding Edison Varivarsaman Valencia Robles in the position.
Lastly, in Manabí, Ronald Lizandro Muñoz Cedeño has replaced Gustavo Guillermo Aguilar García as governor.
The governors act as representatives of the Executive branch in each of the mentioned provinces.
These changes, outlined in decrees 263, 264, and 265, were made before President Noboa's 11-day trip to Europe, where he has a scheduled private audience with Pope Francis.
